Join an audience that loves talking back to history to discuss how Walter Cronkite, prototype TV anchorman shaped international journalism, led by Larry Bounds, Chautauqua Asst Artistic Director and master teacher at WHHS.

Larry Bounds will perform as Walter Cronkite in the June Chautauqua History Alive Festival. These Talks are NOT costumed performances.

  • Like daytime events? Have kids or grandkids you want to bring? – The Saturday March 18 at 2pm event is for kids and adults of all ages.
  • Prefer an evening event? – The Tuesday March 21 at 7pm is traditional Chautauqua Talk night.

The Cronkite Talks are part of Upstate International Month promoting our rich cultural diversity, heritage, and global connections through a variety of internationally themed events.  upstateinternational.org/ui-month/
