UHM – Armed Forces Day

In honor of men and women serving and who have served the United States as members of the Armed Forces, the Upcountry History Museum is thrilled to welcome keynote speaker, Dr. Chip Beck. Dr. Beck is a retired U.S. Navy Commander, former CIA Operative, NCIS Agent and combat artist, with artwork featured in our current exhibit, War in the Persian Gulf: Operations Desert Shield and Storm, 1990-1991.
The Opening Ceremony will begin at 10am with activities planned throughout the day, such as: Veterans Forum, film screenings of Lethal Landscapes: Canvases of the Combat Artist, gallery tours and children’s activities.
